The Escort is usually referred to a group of people. In this specific case, it will be referred to a single person.
1 - Only one character can be the King's escort.
2 - An escort is an armed man that accompanies a person, a convoy, luggages, in order to protect or have an eye on them during the precession/trip. Your first role is of course to escort. You have proven that you run fast, know the lands of Tyria and beyond, and know how to strike or avoid monsters fast. Thus, when a member is to be taken somewhere, you are the PRIME RUNNER of this Order. You SHALL NOT ask for a fee to run our people. However, if you do accomplish many running tasks, you shall be gratified by the King.
3 - You are not any escort, but the King's escort, meaning you represent Camelot, its strength, but also its courtesy. When having to escort Noblemen and Ladies, or guests we befriended from other guilds, you shall be sent and are asked to be the most courteous possible to these people. You shall act as a Noble servant during the whole precession/trip.
4 - The last definition of an Escort is that of people surrounding a person in order to honor him/her. Your keen eye has brought you into the good intentions of the King. You are to be his body guard, so that, to counter the proverb, he can keep his enemies not too close. When in important receptions or dangerous travels, you are to stand with the King and protect his life at any cost.
5 - If you grow tired of the title, you can dismiss your functions any time and warn the King.
