Titles for the Members of the Third State:

- Page
- Squire
- Armiger
- Bachelor / Bachelorette
- Sir / Damsel

You are now a member of the Keepers of the Equilibrium, an ancient and respected Society, and heir of Camelot. As members of the Third Estate, you have to enjoy your gaming experience in respecting the codes of the Guild. It is a challenge in itself, because, as you will see, the road from Page to Sir/Damsel is long. Reaching that rank is an achievement in itself but, it is just the beginning…

Here is what is expected that you do and understand:

- Though you have been accepted in the guild, you are only part of it in a probationary sense. The Third Estate is a portion of your experience where you will have to prove many things to us. It is only once you will have reached the status of Sir/Damsel that you will acquire full membership and acceptance. So do not take things for granted, you are here to prove to us that you want to belong first. Some succeed, some don't. You have all the chances on your side and the ball is in your court.

- Remember that this is an Order based on chivalric codes. The ambiance we want to recreate is one of chivalric values. It does not prevent you from incorporating a few evil characters at some point, but they won't belong to the guild. The first things you have to prove is that your strong characters can abide by chivalric etiquette and values: show humility, honor and wisdom. Avoid boasting and lewd attitudes. You won't get far this way. Also be respectful to those of higher ranks. They were in your shoes before and have proven their worth. You still have to do the same.

- Know that all your characters on your account belong to the same band of adventurers, brotherhood, House, or family. They can be friends, relatives, brother in arms of the same Order; it’s all yours to decide. Thus: If one of your character is granted a new rank, all your characters automatically get it as well… Ranks do not work as Titles (see next forum section) which are related to only one character.

- The blazon of the Guild is not to be used lightly. It is used as a tool in order to recognize what rank you belong to… Please make changes according to your own rank… The same rule works for the piece of armor you are wearing on your head, and as you will see, the color of your armor.

Once you have reached the rank of Sir (if you reach the rank of Sir), three paths open before you, each with a progression of 5 new ranks: you can either follow the path of Chivalry (more military and tactical), or the path of Clergy (more social and intellectual), in both cases, you remain a Member. Or, for some rare few, you can follow the path of Nobility (more administrative and supervising), in which case you become an Officer.

Members do play more than Officers, referred to as ‘Nobles’. Nobles take part of their own time to organize things for the Guild. They recruit, store, and supervise training and good behavior. They know everybody in the Guild, they can grasp everyone's highs and lows, they know everything that is on the forum, any code, any news, any background story. To sum it up, it involves time, devotion, and responsibility and it is not meant to be for everyone. If you want to favor gaming, then you shall remain a Member. We badly need Members, especially if your manage to rise up to the rank of Knight. Those who are eager to direct and help the Master recruit, supervise and organize will be offered the possibility of becoming a Noble, if the Master believes they are worthy enough. And if you have the time for it, because that is usually the biggest issue.
