Armiger (3rd rank) Empty

‘And then came the time when Squires would not ask questions any more, but when Knights would ask their Squires questions instead… Thus, they became Armigers: Beyond the Knight’s trust, they had won the Knight’s interest… Armigers have many talents. And they prove it on daily basis.’ (The Wise Words of Merlin, Chapter 3; line 54)

A while ago, you were a Squire. In itself, it was a perfect achievement. Now you became an Armiger. And by definition, you will be trained in arms, and in the philosophy of our blazon arms. Here is what we expect of you:

- Learn of strategy and on-field tactics (such as pulling properly, killing the right monsters first, build combos, etc...)

- Learn how to rune properly your armor. Different tactics can be followed but there are common rules you need to know.

- Know of our Background stories and plots, and understand their importance, their philosophy. They make us who we are. These beliefs create our identity. They make the difference between us and any other guild.

- As you are asked to fight properly, you will also be given proper weapons and runes from several people of the guild.

Being an Armiger is a worthy task. Your tutors pass on precious knowledge to you. Classically speaking, Armigers in the Middle Ages, when they wanted to prove their sense of devotion to their tutors, used to do the following things:

• Following the tutors directives in attacking a specific type of enemy on the field
• Rescuing the tutors should they be dying
• Ensuring an honorable apology to the tutors in the event of their fall
• Replacing the tutors weapon if you possess better weapon
• Replacing the tutors armor color providing you can (or wish to) offer your Knight Master with the expected colors
• Take care of, prepare the food of, and even bathe your tutors
• And of course, protecting your tutors with your own life

These are ways to expand your Role Play skills. Use them if you wish to. You are not obliged in any way. Learning what you have to learn comes first.

In order to be recognized as an Armiger, you shall not show the Guild’s cape ever. This is a privilege reserved for those who have achieved the rank of Sir / Damsel. Also, when addressing to your Tutors, a Noble, The King or the Grandmaster, you have to hide whatever type of armor it is you have on your head or face. That's basic courtesy. Finally, this guild has a recognizable code of colors to recognize specific ranks. We do not ask you to dye completely your armor again - especially if it is dyed with expensive colors - but please go and buy an extra cheap armor that suits you and either keep it grey or dye it in full brown. This is the outfit you will wear before you enter Camelot - The Hall- in order to demark yourself as still a student of ours. A nice way to make it look real in terms of role play - though you're not obliged to - is not to wear gloves and/or boots, especially if you want to make your character come from poor conditions.
