"Knight Commanders would be those skillful enough to lead men on battle, searching for the correct strategy to apply on every move. Grand Commanders would not search any more, they would find..."

- The Wise Words of Merlin; Chapter 8, page 514

Rare are those who reach the status of Grand Commander. Indeed, you have to be observed a few times and prove that you rarely fail missions you are leading. If a collection of martial victories has lead you to the Rank of Grand Commander, people do ask you not out of protocole any more, but out of sheer trust and admiration. You have become a safe value in terms of on-field leadership in the Guild, a figure of flawless respect, a Legend. Your stalwart presence inspires courage, greatness, calm and resolution, as well as eyes and ears for your tactical expertise. Here is what is expected of you:

- People will often call for your help in tough missions. Please do not let them down and heed the call as often as you can. Prove as talented and kind as your repute.

- find a spot you like in the Big City you have previously chosen. The authorities of the City have granted you the privilege to live in one of these households, as representative of Camelot. So, visit the City, and choose a house that will be officially yours.

- choose an explorable area that depends on this City's Government and frontiers. This explorable area becomes your 'training field'. Choose it wisely, and make sure you know every corner of it, since you will use this explorable area as a strategic field to test some of your tutees... There has to be something specific about this area to make it worth being a training spot.

- your merits and talents have made you an official runner of the Guild. If someone needs a run (especially in the areas around the Big City in which you represent Camelot), you should work and develop now all the qualities necessary to make perfect runs. After all, that's part of your reputation, and you have to defend it.

- Still be wary of your colors. Some evolution has to be seen from the colors you were displaying as a Commander. It has to look better, just on the edge of becoming a Knight of the Round Table, but not quite there yet. The use of gold, metallic blue or metallic green is now appropriate on your armor. A grand commander has to look richer in term of colors. Be careful though: Black is best if used on smaller pieces of armor, because traditionally, Black Knights represent evil. The same rule works for Red, keep it partial, for it is the color of madness. As a final word: Keep away from White, that is the privilege of Knight Generals.
